This Sunday, January 29, we will be gathering together at the YMCA. Join us as we continue our look into the Kingdom of Israel and the applications we have for today.

February 5, we will also be gathering at the Y together.

We are back in the swing this weekend at the Y. Chapter 15 in The Story is our anchor text, so read early. Cafe will open at 9:30 for breakfast snacks and then the worship gathering at 10:00. See you Sunday.

Great night at the 4-Year Anniversary party. The gumbo was great and the celebrating what God has done was even better. It was a great night to just hang out and enjoy some Springs company. Thanks to Pete, Stan and Brandon for slaving over the pots all weekend.

2012 is Here! January is Big for the Springs

We hope everyone has opened up the new year with a bang. This week, we get back into the story and throughout January, we will be teaching on Kingdom. This is a great time to jump in, catch up or keep going. This week we are reading Chapter 14 together in The Story (1 Kings 12-16). Visit INTAKE to join some others on the journey of reading the Story together this year.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION FOR THE SPRINGS!

Four years…it’s hard to believe. Several of you were with us in the first year, but more of you have come alongside since those initial gatherings. We want to celebrate our journey together by coming together THIS SUNDAY NIGHT (Jan 8) from 6-8pm at the Magnolia Creek Clubhouse.

A Sunday Like None Other :: December 18th

It’s Christmas and there will be services where there is soft music and candlelights, where people dress up in their Christmas-best and celebrate in the traditional Christmas way. NOT US!

On Sunday, December 18, our Annual Family Christmas Celebration is going to be a blowout party. Don’t miss this Sunday as the gym is transformed into a party palace as we celebrate the birthday, like it’s a birthday! Cake, games, crazy family pictures and fun for the whole family. Don’t miss out on what just might be the most fun Christmas celebration you’ve ever been a part of.

Sunday December 4th
Hey friends, this week we are gathering at the Y to celebrate who God is and what He is doing in our lives. We are up to Chapter 12 this week in The Story and it’s full of sex, lies, murder and cover-ups…sounds like a network drama right? Cafe will open at 9:30 with light donuts and coffee. Setup Crew meets at 7:30 in the gym.

CHRISTMAS GATHERINGS
December 18 will be our family Christmas gathering. You and your family do not want to miss this one. It won’t be like any “church service” you’ve ever been to. Bring neighbors, co-workers and friends because this one will be our best one ever!

December 24, 6-7pm – for those Springs still in town and desiring a more traditional Christmas Eve celebration, Heritage Park Baptist Church is that place this year. Trent Henderson, their pastor and member of our ministers board, has invited us into their celebration so this year we will be joining them. After the service, some Springs may even go find a resaurant to feast in as well.

We will be meeting Sunday, Nov 20, at the Perry YMCA at 10am. Cafe opens at 9:30 for some donuts and coffee, so come early and visit with some friends.

This week, we will be reading Chapter 4 in The Story. Watch at the end of the week for your personal teaching on this chapter. The challenge for families this week is to carve out a night this week to watch “Prince of Egypt” with your kids – break out the popcorn and pull out all the stops. Have fun with it.

Attention Springs :: The Fall Festival at the YMCA is Saturday, October 22, so mark your calendars to serve our community on that day. This is our biggest opportunity to give back to the YMCA for their incredible generosity to us. More details will come soon on times.

Next Gathering at the Y :: October 2

Keep your eyes out this week for your weekend experience for The Story :: Chapter Two. You’ve heard us talk a lot about the Israelites as God’s chosen people, but where did that come from? How did that nation begin? This experience will be designed for you to participate in from your home, with family or with friends.

We will gather together at the Y again on October 2. We will then be covering The Story :: Chapter Three.

Don’t forget to follow us at the INTAKE Blog as we read and reflect on The Story.
